New Narrative Forms for EFL
These days, literature doesn’t have to mean reading a novel or a simplified version in a graded reader. This course explores different narrative media forms with the intent of developing a “how-to” for the EFL Classroom. Together we explore:
-Graphic novels, picture-books, webcomics
-new forms of EFL material: Escape rooms and team readers
-Digital novels and choose-your-own-adventure
-Narrative computer games
Students will choose ONE of these narrative modes and work in pairs or small groups to develop a “how-to” handbook of aspects to analyse and teaching approaches for this mode.
